OUR FARM

Foggy Notion Farm was born through a collaboration between small scale, urban growers from Providence, Rhode Island. We are a chemical free farm, growing on 4 acres in Snake Den Farm in Johnston, RI.

Soil

We build our soil using locally sourced organic matter- like seaweed, leaves and manure. We also use cover crops and compost to feed our soil.

Seeds

We strive to save seeds from our strongest crops, and purchase seeds from small seed local or regional companies when we can't.

Variety

We grow and forage unique nutritionally dense vegetables and fruits.

RESPECT FOR NATURE

All of our farming decisions are based on a deep respect and close relationship with our special New England ecosystem.
